My Son's Halloween Costume

Hey guys I am still alive lol!! I have been super busy making my son's costume for Halloween. I had originally bought him one at Wal-Mart but he refused to even try it on. I paid twenty bucks for that costume so I returned it, and decided I would just make him one. I found this cute little video on Micheal's website. Jo Pearson had a video on how to make cute costumes, so I decided to try and make him a dinosaur costume. They video made it into a dragon costume, but I did my own take on it and made him a dinosaur one. This costume turned out so much cheaper than buying one, and I think from now on I will just make his costumes. He absolutely loved watching me make this costume, and he was actually about to throw a fit to try it on, go figure lol! So I was really glad he liked it so much. I haven't used a hot glue gun in awhile and I will tell you I burned myself so many times. I felt like an idiot lol!! I finally got the hang of using one again and quit burning myself, thank goodness, my fingers couldn't take much more lol! So here is his costume I hope to get a picture up of him wearing it, and I hope you guys like it!! Have a great day!

Laughy Taffy Sassy Challenge.

This is a card I made for a challenge on Erin Lee Creative's blog. She calls it the Laughy Taffy Sassy Challenge. Try saying that five times fast lol!! So she said that you don't have to own the laughy taffy peachykeen stamps, so I tried my best to find a sassy character from one of my cricut cartridges. I pulled out my Paisley cartridge and found this little hula hooping dog, and I thought she looked pretty sassy. I used my cuttlebug to emboss the mat for my card, and added some ribbon. I used one of my ever favorite $1 dollar Micheal's wooden stamps for the sentiment. I think it turned out super cute! I hope you guys like it too! Hop on over to Erin's blog and play along too, I think it is a super fun challenge and you could win a really cool prize. My card did not photograph well, I think my camera battery is about dead, so I apologize for the grainy picture. I hope everyone is having a great weekend!

Throwback Thursday Challlenge

Hey everyone! I made this card for the Throwback Thursday Challenge over on My Creative Time's blog. The theme was an animal theme. I don't have the every day paper dolls, but I used my create a critter cartridge. I chose the little bird, she is the cutest little bird ever!! LOL! I finally found some hemp cord, and used it on this card. I got this idea from one of Momo's videos and I have seen some other people use this technique. So I gave it a try, for the first time, and I think it turned out cute. Oh and I used my brand new Pink by Design stamp set Take the Cake. I won this set from Sarah over on the pink cricut blog. I LOVE these stamps, thank you again Sarah for doing such wonderful giveaways! I will be ordering more of these stamps, just another thing on my long wish list lol!! So this is my card and I hope you guys like it! Have a great day!

Cricut Cardz Challenge #46

Hey everyone! I hope everyone is having a great Wednesday so far. I made this card for the cricut cardz challenge this week. The theme was anything goes so I pulled out my create a critter cartridge and decided to do a Fall theme. I did the tree and I cut one of the layers twice in a different color and added different colored leaves. I hope I explained that good enough lol! I then decided to cut out these super cute pumpkins in different sizes and stack them on top of one another. I cut the fence out from paper doll dress up. The sentiment is from my scrappy mom stamps. I love those stamps! I am so proud of this card, I think it just turned out so stinking cute. I hope you guys like it too!

Thanksgiving Card

Today I made a Thanksgiving card, since Thanksgiving is right around the corner, and I have made plenty of Halloween cards lol! I decided that today I would be making some Fall themed cards. I am also going to enter this in a challenge for MPS. I used my create a critter cartridge for the super adorable turkey, isn't he the cutest! I just thought I would make a cute and simple card. My two year old son sat on my lap watching me the entire time lol!! He loves watching me craft. I did something different, I don't know if you can tell in the picture but I did some stitching around my orange mat on the card as well as around the card base itself. I thought it would add a little more dimension to the card. Let me know what you think, I am sure someone else has tried this before. I think it turned out cute. I hope everyone has a great day!!

MPS Challenge

I made this card for the My Pink Stamper challenge. The theme was to just make something cute. So I pulled out my paisley cartridge. I picked out this adorable little turtle, and I just picked out some bright and fun cardstock. I used my swirls embossing folder for the mat on the card. Then I took my new scallop punch and did some different colored scallops. I picked out some cute ribbon and finished it off. I hope you guys like it, I think it turned out so cute! Hope everyone is having a great day!

Halloween Card and Help from my Two Year Old!

Hi everyone! I made this card for a challenge over on Crafting with Cristina's blog. The theme was Halloween, but you can't use black or orange. So this is what I came up with. I think the colors went together really well, and I had a little helper lol! My two year old son helped me stick the spiders on the card, didn't he do a great job! He is so sweet, and he loves to watch me craft. I used my mini monsters cartridge, and I used the boo cuttlebug embossing folder, I think that is the name of that folder. I may be wrong, but I think that is what it was called. I used my Martha Stewart drippy goo border punch and her spider punch. The sentiment is one of the wooden dollar stamps from Micheal's, I just love those stamps! So I hope you guys like it. I think it turned out really good. Hope everyone has a great weekend!!

Saturday Challenge for MPS

Hey everybody! I hope everyone is having a great weekend so far. I made this card for the challenge over on My Pink Stamper's blog. I used my stretch your imagination cartridge. I don't have a cartridge that is just winter themed so I used this instead. I really want to get winter frolic next so I have been saving my pennies to get it lol!! I just used kraft cardstock for the base of my card and some winter paper I had purchased from walmart one year after Christmas. I hope you guys like it. I used my 50% off at joann's today and got the scallop border punch, so I used it on this card. I hope everyone has an awesome weekend!

Throwback Thursday Challenge

This is the card I made for Emma's Throwback Challenge. The theme was to make a shaped card. I used my create a critter cartridge for the moon, and paper doll dress up for the fence, bats, and the pumpkin. I used a K.I. memories clear stamp for the witch. I used a brad to hold the two pieces of the card together because sadly I don't have a gypsy yet. I think that may be at the top of my Christmas list lol! So I hope you like how it turned out, I am pretty pleased with it. I really need to get me some peachy keen stamps, I think that will be on my birthday wish list. I hope you like the card, and I hope everyone is having a great day!

Halloween Deorations

Hello everyone! I though I would post some pictures of some of my Halloween crafts. I got this cute wreath idea from Momo @ http://www.madebymomo.blogspot.com/ She is awesome! I am sure you have been to her site, if not check it out, you won't be disappointed. So she did this project for one of the blog hops this weekend, and I just thought it was so stinking cute! So I went out and bought the things I needed to make it. I still need to find some bells to hand from the bow, hopefully I can still find some Halloween ones somewhere, but if not it still looks cute. I want to make one for Fall and Christmas. I want to find a bigger foam wreath than the one from Joann's. This foam wreath was 12in". I bought the garland with the pumpkins on it from Wal-Mart. They were $1.50 for 9ft. I bought four but only used three of them. I bought the ribbon for the bow from Joann's. I didn't use the pins like Momo used I bought some greening pins from WM for $1.00.

My other project was my spooky Halloween tree. I bought the wooden tree from Joann's and it came with some wooden ornaments, but I ended up cutting out some of my own. I used my mini monsters cartridge for all of the little ornaments. I bought two of these and the other one I am making into a Fall one. I will posts some pictures of it when it is finished. So that is all for today. I hope you like it and I hope everyone is having a great day!!

Momo's Tuesday Challenge

I made this card for Momo's Tuesday challenge. The theme was green, orange, and yellow. You also had to do some type of stitching or doodling. So here is my card. I used my mini monsters cartridge to make the pumpkins, but I added my own spin to them. I hope you guys like it!! I hope everyone has a great day!!
