My Fall Card

I made this card using my paper doll dress up cartridge. The tree and the turkey came from that cartridge. I had to color in the turkey with colored pencils, because he didn't have layers that made him colorful. I had to have a turkey with color lol! So if he doesn't look that great it because of the colored pencils. I used the martha stewart leaf punch for the leaves. So I hope you guys like it, and I hope everyone is having a great Monday!!

My Son's Birthday Cake

Well I have been SUPER busy with my son's party today, but I thought I would share some pics of his cake. I had so much trouble with this cake. I was not totally pleased with it, but it came out better than I thought it was. I went through one cake to get to this one, the first one tore all to pieces. I finally got it done at 1:00am. So I am super tired and really ready to go to sleep lol!! I just thought I would share some pics, I know it isn't the greatest cake, but I think it turned out pretty cute. My son loved it. So that was good enough for me, if he is happy I am happy lol! Just look over the plates in the background, that was my son's plate lol!! Hope you guys are having a wonderful Sunday!!

My Son's Birthday Card and Envelope!

Hey everyone I hope everyone is having a great day! I know it's late but I have been up trying to finish my son's birthday card and night is the only time I have to craft. So here it is I am super excited about how it turned out, I think it is just so stinkin cute!! I hope he thinks so too. I used my create a critter, celebrations, and paper dolls cartridge for this card. I used my trusty Martha Stewart score board to make the matching envelope. I am also going to enter this card in Karlee's challenge over on My Pink Stampers blog. Her challenge was to make a project with an envelope or a card with one. I was already going to be making his card so I kind of killed two birds with one stone. The happy birthday was from one of the $1 dollar wooden stamps from Michaels. I also had to throw in one of my scrappy mom stamps on the envelope. So I hope you guys like it, and I will be busy this weekend getting the rest of my son's 2nd birthday party together. I hope everyone has a great weekend!!

Throwback Thursday Challlenge

For this challenge you were to make a card without using your cricut. I am really excited about how my card turned out. I used kraft cardstock and black cardstock, and the rest of the paper is from K&Company Spooktacular paper pack. I love, love, love this paper pack it has the cutest Halloween paper in it. The spooky eyes ribbon came from Wal-mart, it was only $1 dollar, isn't it the cutest? I bought a roll of it and a roll that had candy corn with trick or treat written on it. So check out Wal-mart they have some cute Halloween ribbon for a low price, at least the one here has it I don't know if it is available at all Wal-marts or not. The little monsters and the owls I hand cut from one of the pattern sheets of paper, luckily they were all on the same sheet so I didn't have to waste any paper. I think they look so stinkin' cute!! The trick or treat stamp was from KI Memories Halloween stamp set I got from Tuesday Morning. I also used my Martha Stewart drippy goo border punch on this card, I love that punch lol!! So I hope you guys like it, and I hope everyone is having a great Thursday!!

My Pink Stamper Challenge

This is the card I made for the My Pink Stamper 5 million Celebration Challenge. I am so pleased with how this card turned out!! The theme was to make a card with a bird on it. I picked the penguin from create a critter, and I know the colors aren't very Christmas like colors but I was in a pink and brown kind of mood today lol!! So I made a Christmas card with pink and brown. I FINALLY got to use my new snowflake cuttlebug embossing folder YAY!!! I love my cuttlebug I don't know what I ever did without it. Anyway I used on of the $1 dollar wooden stamps from Michaels. I love those little dollar stamps they have the cutest fonts, but I do still love all my clear stamps too. I am not abandoning them by no means. I just think the little dollar stamps are cute too. You can never have too many stamps right? So I know I am just rambling on, so I will wrap up this post. I think my little penguin turned out super cute! Hope you guys think so too!! I only had one problem with the card, me and the bow got into a fight, and the bow almost won lol!! It isn't one of the best bows I have made, but it looks a lot better than it did before. So I hope everyone has a great day!! Happy crafting!!

I will be busy making my son's birthday cake again this year. Last year it didn't go as I planned for it too. So I am hoping this year goes better. Hope everyone has a great day!!

The Pink Stamper Sept 11 Challenge!

Hey everyone it's me again. I made this card for the My Pink Stamper September 11th Challenge. I am not really satisfied with the way it turned out, I don't think it is one of my best cards. I don't have a patriotic cartridge and I could only find this image. It was the only one I could find that looked like it would match the occasion for September 11th. So I hope you guys like it a little, like I said I don't think it is my best card, but I worked with what I had, and this is what I came up with. So I hope you like it, and I hope everyone remembers what the soldiers sacrifice to protect us and keep us free. Have a great day everyone.

Momo's Tuesday Challenge!!

Hey everyone!! I made this card for Momo's Tuesday challenge this week. I used my new paisley cartridge and of course my scrappy mom stamp set. I used star dust stickles on the bees wings, and added a little bling to the bottom of the card. I think that I am really going to love this paisley cartridge, it just has so many cute images. I also used my cuttlebug to emboss the blue layer of paper. I am also loving my cuttlebug lol!! So I hope you guys like it!! I hope everyone has a great day!!!

Acrylic Post it Holder

So I got this idea from Momo's Ustream class, and I just couldn't wait to give it a try. I think I am going to give this to my sister in law for her desk at work. I think it turned out so cute. Momo has such great videos and she is just awesome. There are so many talented people out there, with such great ideas. You guys are so awesome about wanting to share your projects, and your ideas. I just think it is great. So back on subject I think it turned out super cute. I can't wait to see what her next class will be on. I hope everyone has a great day!!!

Whimsical Wednesday Challenge 9/08/2010

Here is my entry for this weeks whimsical Wednesday challenge. I used my new mini monster cartridge for this card. I had a hard time choosing which little character I wanted to use on my card, but I decided to use the little candy corn girl. I used my new KI Memories Halloween stamp set that I picked up a Tuesday Morning. The candy corn on the sentiment was from the same stamp set. I just colored it in, and for the spiders I used my Martha Stewart Halloween punch. The pumpkin candy bucket I altered the mouth on him because my cricut didn't want to cut his mouth out all the way. So I cut it out, and some teeth out free hand. Hope you guys like my card. Have a great day!! Here is a link to her blog http://www.alwayscrafting.com/

This is my entry for the Whimsical Wednesday Challenge with Stephanie. I am so excited about how cute this card turned out, I just think it is SUPER cute!! I used create a critter for the kitten and her pillow. I used my scrappy mom stamps for the sentiment. I was able to incorporate bling, brads, and two little buttons on my card at once. Hopefully I didn't over do it but I think it looks just right, and hopefully you guys think so too.
I am loving all the challenges people have out, it gives me something to work with and to maybe try something different for a change, and of course I love a good challenge even if I don't win, I still have so much fun creating something new! Hope everyone has a great day!!

My Scrapbooking Haul!!

I went to Michaels and Joann's today, and I didn't really find anything in Joann's, but I found a lot at Michaels. I got the spooktacular paper pack and it is so cute!! It was only $7 dollars and some change for 36 papers and they are double sided, I thought that was a great deal. I also got the Autumn Splendor solid color paper stack and I think it was $8 dollars and some change, and it has some glitter paper in it, and it had 36 sheets of paper in it also. I finally found a round corner punch, and I can't wait to try it out, it was on sale for $4.74.
They also had the 8.5x11 cardstock 2 for $5.00. So I picked up some of those in some bright and fun colors.
When I checked the mail today I found my Mini Monsters cartridge waiting on me, and I was super excited to get this in the mail, my Paisley cartridge should be here next week, can't wait for it to get here!! So I had to immediately start making things with it lol!! It has so many cute little images, it is going to be one of my favorites I think.
So that was what I found today, and I hope everyone has a great Labor Day weekend, and that everyone stays safe! Have a great day!!!
