Halloween Tag

I have been MIA for awhile and decided to enter a contest. You had to make a Halloween themed tag, so I threw this little guy together, and I am pretty satisfied with the way he turned out. I finally got the simply charmed cartridge for my cricut, so I thought I would use it for the first time. I am 35 weeks pregnant with our second son, and that is why I haven't posted in awhile. So I am patiently awaiting our new baby and trying to get back into crafting at the same time. I have missed it so. Anyway enough rambling, I hope you guys like it!

Christmas Stocking I made for My Son.

Hey everyone!! I haven't posted i awhile, been busy with all of the holidays and getting ready for Christmas and all. So I thought I would post some pics of the stocking I made for my son. I went to Joann's and found this cute John Deere fabric and he LOVES his John Deere tractors, so this just fit him to a "T" lol!! I totally messed up the first one, so I was really glad that I had purchased extra fabric, because I always mess up something along the way ;) So I scrapped the first one and he just plays with it. So this was the second one, and it turned out perfect. I used puffy paint to write his name on the top of it. I am very happy with the way this one turned out. I hope you guys like it and if I don't get to post again before Christmas, Merry Christmas to you all!!

If you missed it and want to make your own here is the link to the recorded class http://www.ustream.tv/recorded/10729533 Mine are not as cute as hers turned out but I am still learning, but I am happy with the way they turned out. I am going to make more for some Christmas gifts with my son's Christmas picture for the family. So I hope you guys like them. I used my new Birthday Bash cart for the bear in the wagon, and I got it for a steal over on cricut machine's black friday sale. What I got for my Birthday!!

Hey guys I know I haven't been posting much, but I thought I would share with you guys what goodies I got for my Birthday today. I finally got the sweet treats cartridge from my sweet mom, and my husband got me winter frolic. I am so excited and can't wait to try them out. I have felt kinda out of it lately, like I just can't create anything. So maybe I will get my creative juices flowing again and get some projects completed. I also want to thank all of the veterans and everyone who sacrifices so much to keep the rest of us safe! Thank you!! We wouldn't be free without you guys! I hope everyone has a blessed Veteran's Day!!

My Son's Halloween Costume

Hey guys I am still alive lol!! I have been super busy making my son's costume for Halloween. I had originally bought him one at Wal-Mart but he refused to even try it on. I paid twenty bucks for that costume so I returned it, and decided I would just make him one. I found this cute little video on Micheal's website. Jo Pearson had a video on how to make cute costumes, so I decided to try and make him a dinosaur costume. They video made it into a dragon costume, but I did my own take on it and made him a dinosaur one. This costume turned out so much cheaper than buying one, and I think from now on I will just make his costumes. He absolutely loved watching me make this costume, and he was actually about to throw a fit to try it on, go figure lol! So I was really glad he liked it so much. I haven't used a hot glue gun in awhile and I will tell you I burned myself so many times. I felt like an idiot lol!! I finally got the hang of using one again and quit burning myself, thank goodness, my fingers couldn't take much more lol! So here is his costume I hope to get a picture up of him wearing it, and I hope you guys like it!! Have a great day!

Laughy Taffy Sassy Challenge.

This is a card I made for a challenge on Erin Lee Creative's blog. She calls it the Laughy Taffy Sassy Challenge. Try saying that five times fast lol!! So she said that you don't have to own the laughy taffy peachykeen stamps, so I tried my best to find a sassy character from one of my cricut cartridges. I pulled out my Paisley cartridge and found this little hula hooping dog, and I thought she looked pretty sassy. I used my cuttlebug to emboss the mat for my card, and added some ribbon. I used one of my ever favorite $1 dollar Micheal's wooden stamps for the sentiment. I think it turned out super cute! I hope you guys like it too! Hop on over to Erin's blog and play along too, I think it is a super fun challenge and you could win a really cool prize. My card did not photograph well, I think my camera battery is about dead, so I apologize for the grainy picture. I hope everyone is having a great weekend!
